Taika Waititi shared the big news with Variety while attending the 2020 BAFTA Tea Party in Los Angeles. Thor 4 dubbed as Thor: Love and Thunder will hopefully begin shooting around August of this year, he revealed.

“We’ll move down to Sydney around April, I think, maybe. And then we’ll probably start shooting probably around August, I think,” he said in the interview.
The director wasn’t sure if the fires currently ravaging Australia would impact the filming schedule.
“It’s insane what’s happening down there,” he added.
Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster.
This movie is Waititi’s much-awaited follow-up to 2017’s Thor Ragnarok.
It is set for release in theaters on November 5, 2021.
