The University of the Philippines Mathematics Club (UPMC) will be hosting “The 7th Annual Little Math Wizard,” an annual Mathematics competition for Grade 5 and Grade 6 elementary students. The event offers an avenue for young wizards to showcase their skills and talent in Mathematics through a challenging yet fun and friendly competition.The event will be held on the 26th day of November at the Institute of Mathematics Building, University of the Philippines Diliman.
The coverage of the entire competition shall include Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory, Logic, and Recreational Mathematics. The registration fee for the event is Php 170 for each participant.
Surely, the fun brought about by the event is to bring fulfillment to the participants’ enthusiastic hearts for Mathematics. However, it is undeniable that the challenge to be able to get to the top won’t be easy. Everyone must have to battle their hearts out to be able to emerge as the winner. But even through all those, whoever is to be heralded as the 7th Little Math Wizard shall bring great honor for himself/herself and the school he/she represents.
Also, we remember: along with the success of every competition is a step forward to the realization of the dreams of every aspiring mathematician.
