Carlos Yulo Bags Artistic Gymnastics All-Around Gold Medal At SEA Games 2019

The 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Champion has made the Philippines proud once again. Carlos Yulo has just won another gold medal at the 30th Southeast Asian Games. He finished first at the men’s artistic gymnastics all-around category at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Sunday.

He bested two Vietnamese gymnasts with his performances at the Floor Exercise and Horizontal Bar events. He then accomplished 2 more second-ranked finishes, securing the win for the Philippines.

Yulo registered a total score of 84.900, edging out Dinh Phuong Thanh’s 82.360 and Le Thanh Tung’s 81.700.

Soon after the awarding, Yulo went on Twitter to express the honor he felt in representing our nation. “Para sa lahat po ng kapwa ko pilipino Mabuhay po tayong lahat at patuloy po natin suportahan ang mga atletang pilipino. Mabuhay Tayong lahat,” he wrote.
