Stereolab, a well-known London based 90’s underground band is about to set foot in Manila as their comeback has been confirmed last 2019. The band has been touring around the globe to debut their first North American trek in 11 years. The band also has been very busy touring the UK and Europe which shows are cited as phenomenal. Making waves in Paris, Manchester, Leeds, and Dublin.
Their concert in Manila is happening on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier. Tickets are priced at Php 3,500 for General Admission – Standing. The band’s leg in the country excites Filipino fans and underground music lovers for this is the first time they are hearing of the band again since their separation and hiatus in 2010 leaving their last full length, “Not Music” with its opening track “Everybody’s Weird Except Me”. The band is known for inducing easy listening elements in their sound that millennials and music lovers of today find amusing.
The band also renewed the interest of listeners as they use older analog instruments; Vintage and still of quality.
