Sharon Cuneta joined fans in reminiscing a very old movie she starred in with former onscreen and real-life lover Gabby Concepcion as it marked its 39th anniversary.
On Instagram, Sharon shared an old photo of herself with Gabby taken at the time that “Dear Heart” first premiered, which was back in 1981. On the caption, she gushed over the memories of when everything was still “simple, pure, [and] innocent” as young stars receiving their first big break in the local entertainment scene.

“Eto na po mga solid na S-G (Here it is, solid S-G fans). He was 17, I was 15. Things were super simple, pure, innocent. Di pa po kami magkaano-ano dito at after shooting na kami nag-usap (Nothing was going on between us and we only talked after shooting),” Sharon wrote.
Seemingly in response to those who claimed she has yet to move on from her first husband, she said, “Nililinaw ko lang po – ilang beses na ako nakamove-on! Ngek. Pero love ko ang “Dear Heart.” Kasi totoong-totoo lahat nung nagsimula. (I would just like to clarify: I’ve already moved on countless of times! But I loved “Dear Heart.” Because it’s very true how everything began.)”
She also reposted a fanmade slideshow of her old photos with Gabby in commemoration of their film’s anniversary. She expressed her gratitude to fans for remembering and for their support through the years.
“Aaaaahh kaya pala naman napakabusy ng ShaGab nation (no wonder the ShaGab nation was really busy)…39th Anniversary ng (of) Dear Heart!!!” she gushed. “Jusko di ko kinakaya ang bigote at balbas ni G.!!!Sa buong buhay ko now ko lang siya nakitang ganyan! Maryosep. Di bale pogi pa rin. Uy. O para sa inyo yan mga S-G ha? (Goodness, I can’t handle Gabby’s mustache and beard. In my whole life, I only now saw him like that. Don’t worry, he’s still handsome. There, that’s for all you S-G fans, okay?)”
“Happy Anniversary to our “Dear Heart” & all our fans – and thank You Lord. Almost 4 decades na po mahal pa rin ng mga tao ang tambalan namin (It’s been almost four decades already and our fans still love our loveteam),” she added.

Sharon and Gabby were married from 1984 to 1987 and share one daughter, actress KC Concepcion.
