Share Movement’s Lettering and Calligraphy 101 Workshop

Lettering and Calligraphy 101
Lately, a lot of us have probably toyed with the beautiful art of Lettering and Calligraphy. You could have started that hidden talent of yours in school when the teacher was too boring or maybe when you saw a post on Instagram and you thought to yourself, “Hey, I could do that!”Well, here’s your chance.

Designed for beginners, the Lettering and Calligraphy 101 with Ella Lama and Geli Balcruz workshop is the event you should be attending. To be held on the 25th of April 2015, the workshop is guaranteed to bring on fun, lots of new friends, and the best part: tips and tricks for all you budding letterers and calligraphers.

Letterer, Ella Lama and calligrapher, Geli Cruz show their true passion for their respective arts on their Instagram pages. In fact, if you’re not already thinking of attending the workshop, their uploaded works are enough to get you signing up. Both girls are determined to feed the curious minds of their students and they highly encourage practicing to better hone your talents.

The back to back lessons include the basics of Lettering, which they refer to as drawing letters and the basics of Calligraphy, which they define as writing beautiful letters. As part of the workshop, both Ella and Geli keep a close look on their students to check out how they can help improve their work and they also give importance to teaching the class that care for your materials is also a big factor.

This time around, the workshop has partnered with Share Movement and has the Joseph Feeding Mission as the benefactor of the fund-raising event. Aside from the lessons, the event is sponsored by generous entities that have freebies waiting to be given aside from the materials that are already provided!

Even if the workshop is for beginners and enthusiasts of the two crafts, the fun and well-informed workshop will get any passerby interested.
