Filipino boy band SB19 just broke into the top 5 of the Billboard Social 50 Chart!
On Tuesday, April 21, Billboard announced this week’s rankings in a Tweet, surprising fans and Filipinos with SB19’s sudden jump in the chart in fifth place.
What’s more amazing is that the group was among many globally recognized Korean boybands in the top 10 list, namely BTS, GOT7, EXO, TXT, NCT 127, and NCT DREAM.

The Billboard Social 50 is a popularity chart that ranks the most active musical artists on the world’s leading social networking services. It is based collectively on each artist’s weekly additions of friends, fans, and followers, along with artist website views and streaming media.
SB19 debuted in the chart in December 2019.

SB19 is composed of members Sejun, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin who were all trained by a Korean entertainment agency prior to being introduced to the Philippines.
