On February 22, a fan wondered whether his use of “din” and “rin” was interchanged. Then, Pablo later took to his platform to explain further, allowing fans a glimpse into his approach as a songwriter.

“Uy tenkyu. Tho deliberate sya. Yun yung beauty ng music at poetry. Walang rules. Pero try mo kantahin. Kapag “din” ang ginamit, hindi sya magiging madulas pakinggan. Instead na mapunta ang focus at diin dun sa “yung bisa”. Magkakaroon sya ng diin sa gitna dahil sa “d” sound (Thank you. Though it was deliberate. That’s the beauty of music and poetry—there are no rules. But try singing it. If ‘din’ were used, it wouldn’t sound as smooth. Instead of the focus and emphasis landing on ‘yung bisa,’ the stress would fall in the middle because of the ‘d’ sound),” he explained.

While the fan apologized for how they phrased their question and clarified that they were simply curious to learn more about the song, Pablo took the time to respond once again, highlighting the importance of open dialogue and respectful conversation among fans.

“Inexplain ko lang talaga yung dahilan kung bakit ko sha ginagawa. Wag sana tayo too sensitive. Ganto ba talaga makipag usap ngayon? Secured din naman akong tao (I’m just explaining the reason why I’m doing it. Hopefully, we’re not too sensitive. Is this really how people talk to each other these days? I’m also secure), no need to defend. No need to start a fire,” he wrote back.

Following this wholesome exchange between the SB19 vocalist and the fan, more social media users expressed their respect and admiration for the songwriter.

On February 20, SB19 treated fans to the release of their newest single, “VISA.” The track is a compelling and creative response to the struggles of Filipinos when trying to secure a visa due to restrictive policies and systemic barriers.

The song’s poignant lyricism immediately captured the attention of fans and listeners, with many sharing how the song resonates deeply with their own experiences. As of writing, “VISA” has already amassed over one million views on YouTube.
