Ryza Cenon is proud to be a hands-on mom to her baby boy, Night, but parenthood is not always rainbows and butterflies. Often, what the experience is, is becoming physically tired to the point of just staring into space.
This is what Ryza opened up about in her latest Instagram post wherein she shared a photo of herself looking dishevelled and fatigued. “After mo magpakain, magpaligo, saka patulog ng anak mo… may moment talaga na mapapaupo ka tapos matutulala ka nalang sa pagod then sabay hingang malalim then game na ulit,” she wrote on the caption.
[“After you’ve fed, bathed, and put your baby to sleep, there really is a moment when you’d just sit down and stare into space, before taking a deep breath and continuing your routine.”]

“Relate din ba kayo mga mommies? Kung nakakarelate kayo isang mahigpit na yakap sa inyo mga mommies!!! (Do you relate, mommies? If you do, I’m sending a tight hug to all of you mommies!),” she added.
A lot of her friends and followers empathized with her on this relatable mommy moment, and trooped to the comments to share their own stories.
“Always haha,” Sam Pinto said.
“Relate momsh, tas maglilinis pa bahay, palengke, with luto pa (I can relate, and then we clean the house, do the groceries, and even cook),” one fan shared.
“Minsan maiiyak ka na lang kasi ang oras mo na lang sa sarili mo 5-10mins para maligo ng mabilis, minsan kahit pag ligo mo or urinate kasama mo pa ang isang toddler at infant mo. Pero laban lang ulit para sa kids, at the end of the day iba ang sarap pag kinikiss at timititigan mo sila and every yakap is worth everything. (Sometimes, you’d just cry because the only time you have for yourself is 5-10 minutes to bathe, and sometimes when you do bathe or urinate, you still have your toddler or infant with you. But we fight on for our kids [because] at the end of the day, it feels so good to kiss or stare at them, and every hug is worth everything),” another stated.
“Relate much mumsh, I’m a mom of two boys a 4yr old and and an 4mos old. Pero kaya tayo tinawag na (But that’s why we’re called) wondermom kasi (because) we’re so amazing. A big hug!” another expressed.
Ryza welcomed her son with partner Miguel Antonio Cruz on October 2020.
