Ryza opened up to friends and followers on her Instagram account about how she’s currently struggling to produce enough milk for baby Night. “As a first-time mom minsan nakaka frustrate ‘yung wala ka pang maibigay na gatas, kahit gusto mo magpa-breast feeding kay Baby Night,” she wrote in the caption.

Thankfully, her good friend Chariz Solomon, who gave birth in early October, came to the rescue with her extra milk!

Buti na lang andyan si @chariz_solomon para matulungan ako sa breast milk. Super thank you missy!!!” she said.

“Missy, ‘wag ka masyado ma-stress!!! I love youuu!!!” Chariz replied to her in the comments.

According to medical experts, low milk supply when breastfeeding is actually a normal occurrence and isn’t much cause for alarm. Various factors can contribute to this, such as waiting too long to breastfeed your newborn or not breastfeeding as often as you should, among many others. There are ways to boost milk production, such as breastfeeding 8 to 12 times a day, checking your latch, or pumping when you miss a breastfeeding session.
