If you’re one of the fans of Running Man, we have sad news for you: star Lee Kwang-soo got into a car accident.
The actor was injured on February 16, resulting in a fracture in his right ankle. According to a statement from King Kong by Starship, he had “been hit by another vehicle violating traffic signals.” Two days later, he underwent surgery.
Because of this, he will be taking a break from all his scheduled activities. This includes tapings for the show.
There’s no word about him joining Running Man: A Decade of Laughter, a tour that will celebrate the show’s first 10 years. The original February 9 fan meet in Manila was rescheduled to June 21, amidst the coronavirus scare.
Filipino fans can expect to see the show’s entire cast, made up of Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Haha, Song Ji Hyo, Yang Se Chan, Jeon So Min, and hopefully, Lee Kwang Soo.
Running Man is a variety show where the hosts play a series of games. To date, the show has close to 500 episodes.
