Rites of Passage

The Ateneo Musicians’ Pool proudly presents Rites of Passage! Stylized as AMP for short, the Ateneo Musicians’ Pool is the premier music organization of the Ateneo de Manila University. Through AMP, local artists from the Ateneo are fostered and given opportunities to grow through gigs and events the organization holds. Moreover, AMP also prides itself in its ability to nurture and develop the many talents of its members in design, sound engineering, and writing. In essence, the Ateneo Musician’s Pool is an organization that strongly upholds a culture of appreciation for original Pinoy music.

To kick off AMP’s 22nd year, the organization will be holding its annual event Rites of Passage. It will be separated into two nights, with Volume 1 happening on November 3at Mow’s Bar, and Volume 2 happening on November 16 at Route 196, both from 7:00 P.M. – 12:00 M.N. True to its name, Rites of Passage will introduce the AMP’s newly accepted artists to the gig scene. We have a tremendous line-up for this event, boasting the talents of Serotonin, Seizure Salad, The Quirks, and more!

Come as you aren’t! In line with Halloween, this year’s Rites of Passage is going to be a night of fright! Don’t be afraid to show up in your spookiest Halloween costume and let the Ateneo Musicians’ Pool’s newest artists take you through the night.

Rites of Passage is expected to be one of the biggest upcoming events of this school year. In light of this, your coverage would be very much appreciated. The coverage of Rites of Passage will be of great help for the Ateneo Musicians’ Pool; as it will entice not only students of the Ateneo de Manila University to come, but also any indie music enthusiast around.
