Reese Lansangan just got noticed by a Kpop star and she’s completely over the moon!
The local singer posted a Youtube video on Wednesday, August 11, of an acoustic cover of NCT Ten’s “Paint Me Naked” noting that she loved his solo performance so much that she spent an entire night just to create her own version.
“TEN’s solo exceeded all my expectations! Such a fantastically produced song that showcases all of TEN’s talents (especially his art!). I’m so happy he got to express himself so well in all of the promotional aspects of this song,” she wrote in the caption of her video.
The cover subsequently went viral on social media with fellow Filipino NCT fans praising Reese for the beautiful rendition. But no one could have expected that Ten himself would see it and share it too.
“Ohh [thank you] so much. This is amazing,” he gushed on his Instagram stories where he included a snippet of the video.
Thrilled to have gotten such praise from a Kpop idol, Reese thanked him for being such “an inspiration” to fans everywhere.
“You’re such an inspiration to many! Your passion is so evident in everything you do and you show us how we’re all limitless,” she said. “I can’t physically recover from this.”
She also posted a photo of herself reacting to Ten’s repost.
