Last August 17, a road accident happened involving an SUV and a pickup truck at Anabu Coastal in Cavite. However, the truck’s driver immediately abandoned the vehicle.
Upon further investigation, police officers found carcasses of 72 dogs inside the truck. According to Jay Emmanuel Ramirez Corral, one of the bystanders who saw the incident, “According to the cops, accident happened dawn of Aug 17. Wala daw bumibiyahe ng daytime ng dog syndicate, the pickup truck hit another SUV along Daang Hari Road in Imus, Cavite. The driver of the pickup immediately fled the scene, leaving his cellphone, it is not yet sure if the driver has companions.”

“When the cops arrived they saw dead dogs at the cargo bed of the vehicle. They were also filled with ice maybe to preserve the dogs. Skins were burned probably by blow torch. All in all, there were 72 dogs.”, he added.
