If you pass by on the northbound side of Katipunan Avenue, you can easily spot the huge info board of Ateneo de Manila University.
Usually, you’d see there school announcements, information about upcoming school celebrations, and congratulatory messages to exemplary students.
However, this November, the info board has been displaying information about Martial Law. Actually, displayed on the board was the text “Hindi Bayani si Marcos” in lieu to the recent burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng Mga Bayani (LNMB).
Also displayed on the info board is “Martial Law by the Numbers” that should details about what happened during the Martial Law era.
All photos are from Apple Oreta. She also told WhenInManila.com that, “the entire fence of the Loyola School’s side (this is the college/university side) of the Ateneo is draped in black cloth as part of the symbolic indignation of the University.”
Have you seen this info board? What do you think?
