But, what really made us love Phoenix Court that day is the Spinach Bean-curd Crispy Mushroom. I cannot express in writing how much we loved this dish that we eventually made an Instagram video. All I know is that I craved for this dish the whole week!
The crispy mushroom made this the perfect dish for me. You need to try it!
Another favorite dish of mine is Beef Tenderloin Black Pepper. I love savory foods and this dish is perfect for me! I love how tender the beef is, not totally overcooked and the sauce gives it so much flavor.Â
Juicy and tender beef cuts in  black pepper sauce.
I’m not a fan of seafood, but the Prawn Meat in Garlic and Scallops stuffed Crab-meat definitely passed my picky palate. It must be the Chinese cuisine way of cooking!Â
I can now swear that prawn and garlic are perfect combination!Â
To our surprise, we are not yet done! What better way to cap off this Chinese food fiesta? Of course, with desserts! Phoenix Court served us a simple Young Coconut (Buko Pudding). It was so simple, it made our experience at the restaurant worth it! No need for extravagant plating, they served it as it is!
The unofficial “Eating Committee” of WhenInManila.com would like to thank The Bellevue for taking care of us! To the Chinese Executive Chef Cheong Kwan Loong, it’s a job well done!

If you’re in this part of the city, don’t hesitate to drop by Phoenix Court at The Bellevue Manila if you’re craving for a good Chinese cuisine. For me, they’re the master of the cuisine here in the South!Â
