Yes, the Philippines is a country filled with beauty queens, and we’re adding one more individual to the roster: Beatrice Andrada, who represented the Philippines, took home the crown at the Miss Pacific World pageant!
The pageant was held in Peru on May 28. She beat 53 other contestants to win the title.
Andrada is a 25 year old Filipina who was born and raised in Quezon City, but moved to Canada when she was eight years old. She is part of the International Professional Entertainment Network (IPEN), a network that trains and sends contestants to international pageants.
In September of last year, she opened a fundraiser to collect donations so she can join theMiss Pacific World in Peru. She was only able to raise $400 of the $1,000 goal, but fortunately, she was still able to attend and take home the crown.
