After nearly two months of social media silence amid his controversial breakup with longtime partner LJ Reyes, actor Paolo Contis just posted a new photo on his Instagram account.
His post was a selfie of him sleeping on a pillow to mimic this sculpture of a man’s face that went viral online after fans noticed that the facial features resembled that of Paolo. The sculpture was one of the many photos that BTS members V and J-Hope took during their visit to Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul, Korea. Because of it, Paolo’s name immediately trended on Twitter and he was pleasantly surprised to find out why.

“Trending daw to kahapon, kaya chineck ko na din! May point naman sila! (They said this was trending yesterday so I checked it out too! They have a point!)” Paolo captioned his photo, adding laughing emojis.
The artwork is actually a self-portrait of Australian sculptor Ron Mueck and is titled Mask II.
Paolo’s last post prior to this was an open letter in early September apologizing to fans, to his former partner LJ, and to his “A Faraway Land” costar Yen Santos for being at fault for the breakup and for dragging other people into the mess.
