Not gonna lie. I haven’t been that stoked to watch the live-action version of The Little Mermaid. My 90s heart seems to have difficulties digesting anything in the Disney live-action world. However, my current hallyu-loving heart got excited to hear the Korean version of Part of Your World, sung by none other than NewJeans’ Danielle. She’s actually also the voice actor for Ariel in the dubbed version so I might just watch this dubbed in Korean. :p

Previously, Danielle’s teaser of Part of Your World left a strong impression and increased anticipation for her rendition of The Little Mermaid song.

Danielle’s rendition of ‘Part of Your World,’ which has been released on various music platforms in Korea and abroad, features a beautiful melody and lyrics that give a glimpse into the character of Ariel and the story of The Little Mermaid. While the lyrics reflect Ariel’s curiosity and longing, Danielle’s pure and crystal-clear voice captivates the ear.

The full-length music video for Part of Your World was released on VEVO, the official YouTube channel of Disney Music Korea, to coincide with the release of the song.
