This Cat Won the Guinness World Record for Being the “Most Watched Cat on YouTube”

A cat just won a Guinness World Record simply for being the most-watched feline on YouTube!

Motimaru, a Scottish Fold hailing from Japan, has been brightening his audience’s days since debuting his channel at nearly 3 months old. Now a year old, Motimaru has racked up 1.43 million subscribers thanks to his daily video uploads showing his day-to-day routines and activities.

With an adorable face like that, it’s no wonder that anyone would instantly click on a video to watch him play, eat, or sleep around the house.

Motimaru is now a record-holder for “Most Views For A Cat On YouTube” as of August 12, 2021, at a whopping 619,586,260 total views of his channel, “motimaru’s diary.” The number has since climbed, though, and has already reached 693,405,434 views one month later as of writing.
