After much speculation about the status of the project, MOMOLAND’s Nancy herself confirmed that her project with James Reid is pushing through.
Reid and Nancy will star in Soulmate, which Reid described as a show about “finding your soulmate.” It will be directed by Tonet Jadone. She is also behind other projects starring JaDine, such as On The Wings of Love, Til I Met You, and Never Not Love You.
Nancy told ABS-CBN’s MJ Felipe, “I started doing workshops [when I was last in Manila]. Now, there are workshops planned with James in the future.”
She added, “I’m going to stay here for a while. [Shooting is] planned in Korea, too.”
Nancy didn’t reveal the plot but said that “my character is Korean-American who lives in the Philippines.”
There’s no word when it will air but shooting will begin in February.
