Apparently, operation on a certain portion of LRT-2 will be suspended for the next nine months. Specifically, the stations involved in the suspension are Santolan, Katipunan, and Anonas. Due to this, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) deployed buses today and offered free rides to stranded passengers.

Nagdeploy ang MMDA ng libreng sakay buses na may rutang mula Santolan hanggang Cubao at pabalik para sa mga stranded na pasahero bunsod ng pagsuspinde ng byahe ng LRT Line 2. Ito ay magsasakay hanggang 7 ng gabi.
Although the MMDA did this today, they said there is no advise yet if they will do this the entire time the operations are suspended.
