The cast of Voltes V: Legacy, Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, and Gabby Eigenmann, stunned in their full costumes at the 2023 San Diego Comic-Con!
Entertainment publishing powerhouse, Dogu invited GMA Network to bring the Filipino adaptation of the hit anime series Voltes V at the biggest annual comics convention in California. This marks the first-ever Filipino television program to participate in the event.
In an Instagram video uploaded by GMA Pinoy TV, the cast roamed around the convention in their marvelous costumes. Tanfelix looked dazzling in his iconic fit as Steve Armstrong, while Ortega exuded beauty in her yellow costume as Jamie Robinson.
Eigenmann, who portrayed Commander Robinson, also dressed up in his character. It was seen that several attendees and fans took a photo with them!
They even posed with GMA Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable, Assistant Vice President for Drama Helen Rose S. Sese, and the Voltes V: Legacy’s director Mark Reyes.

On Instagram, Reyes shared his experience and gratitude for being a part of the event as an official panelist. He said attending the San Diego Comic-Con has been on his bucket list.

“It’s been on my bucket list to make it to San Diego Comic Con. Little did I know that that dream will come true this 2023. What’s more is that I am not just attending as a casual convention goer but an official panelist to represent the first South East Asian Live Action series for #voltesvlegacy,” he wrote.
Voltes V: Legacy premiered in May 2023. It also stars Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho.
