The 24-year-old daughter of Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez, Michelle Dee, has won the Miss World Philippines 2019 title in the coronation night held on Sunday, September 15 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum!

The actress garnered multiple special awards throughout the pageant, namely Miss Blue Water Spa, Miss Myra E, Miss GCOX, Miss Best Skin, and Miss Bench.
She will be representing the country in the Miss World 2019 pageant to be held in London, United Kingdom.
Completing the list of winners are Katrina Llegado (Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas), Kelley Day (Miss Eco Philippines), Isabelle de Leon (Miss Multinational Philippines), Glyssa Perez (Miss Tourism Philippines), Vanessa Mae Walters (Miss Eco Teen Philippines), Shannon Kerver (1st Princess) and Casie Banks (2nd Princess).

Aside from being the daughter of Melanie Marquez, Michelle is also the cousin of former Miss World Philippines 2017 Miss Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas titleholder, Winwyn Marquez, proving that she is of royal blood.
