Mayor Vico Sotto is set to help out those who are in dire need of food especially those who are unable to work in this time of enhanced community quarantine due to the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Pasig City mayor announced via Facebook that they are already preparing the purchase of 400,000 food packs to help those in need.

According to the receipt shared, the food pack will contain 3 kgs of well-milled rice in a sealed plastic bag, 2 cans of sardines, 2 cans of corned tuna, 2 cans of corned beef, and 2 cans meatloaf.

Mayor Sotto wrote:

Total: 158M pesos max.
Mode: emergency procurement
Expected delivery: end of this week)
