From a small team to a continuously growing family, UCC Coffee has been the home of many patrons for the past two decades. From Mr. Hubert Young’s passion for coffee, he began introducing UCC by opening a coffee shop, giving their customers a taste of high-quality coffee which in turn was greatly welcomed and loved by the Filipinos.
In 2013, Mr. Young established a joint venture with UCC Ueshima Coffee Co., Ltd.—a renowned manufacturer of coffee beans from Japan supplying high-quality coffee beans all over the world for the past 90 years—in setting up a coffee manufacturing company here in the Philippines and now, they are supplying and creating customizable coffee notes for coffee beans in line with their partners’ brand all over the country.
Today, it has become much more than a coffee manufacturing company for the past 23 years as UCC continued to grow, create more jobs for the Filipinos and expanded their reach by introducing their merchandise with the goal in mind to let more Filipinos experience high-quality coffee no matter where they are.
With 35 stores and counting, UCC has opened its doors not only in Metro Manila but in different cities across the country as well—in Silang, Nuvali, Bacolod, Davao and Cebu. UCC continues to deliver smiles and satisfaction with their crafts not only through coffee but with their foods as well.
This year, UCC Coffee is celebrating its 23rd anniversary in the Philippines! Looking back at their roots, they are bringing back the classics of the first UCC Menus from the first two UCC stores built in the early 2000s—UCC Vienna Cafe in Tomas Morato and UCC Cafe Terrace in Fort Bonifacio.
The early UCC menu offers a great variety of meals to its patrons so UCC selected some of the crowd favorites from the menu list. For seafood fans, the UCC Classics Menu offers Japanese Seafood Soup Spaghetti, Seafood Salad, Sumiyaki Eel Spaghetti, Scallops and Mushroom Spaghetti, and Cuttlefish Cod Roe Spaghetti.

They also have Bacon and Sausage Penne Gratin, and Penne Arrabbiata for Bacon lovers with a spicy twist. If you love chicken, you should definitely try their Chili Garlic Chicken Spaghetti, and Chicken and Mushroom Risotto. You can also enjoy their Hamburg Curry Rice and Ebi Fry Curry Rice.
Of course, the UCC Classics won’t be ‘UCC’ if there’s no breakfast on the menu! The UCC Classics breakfast menu includes Breakfast Frankfurter, and Corned Beef Hash. They also have Chicken Teriyaki and Eggplant Sandwich, UCC Classic Clubhouse, and Cliffhanger for sandwich options. If you’re craving desserts, they also have Tiramisu, Chocolate Ganache Cake, and Chocolate French Toast on their menu list.
Needless to say, all the UCC Classics are best paired with your favorite UCC coffee to further enhance your enjoyment experience of your meal.
The UCC Classics is not just about bringing back all this food on the menu but it is also a nod to UCC’s roots from the present UCC menu that continued to evolve and innovate throughout the years. It signifies UCC’s 23 years of passionate commitment and service to its customers, whilst being their companion in creating lasting memories for the past two decades.
The UCC Classics will be offered to the public this July in all UCC coffee shops nationwide.
