If there’s a will, there’s a way. Fresh graduate Renzel Robles shares her experience getting to the venue of her commencement exercises, which trended on Facebook. She wrote a lengthy post narrating her experience as well as six photos and two videos to validate her ‘journey’.
Rough translation:
“So here’s my graduation experience.
My batchmates were able to march and sit in their respective seats.
There was a road under construction in Roxas [Boulevard], and I realized it was a Monday as well – the traffic was intense! We weren’t moving at all! I had the immense urge to use the restroom, I was shaking and felt like crying. Of course, I waited for this for five years! I would literally do anything to finally reach the day and the moment I’ve been ultimately waiting for.

So, I was left with no choice. I decided to go down our car. A motorcycle driver was parked nearby and I was courageous enough to ask Kuya Ron – I rode behind him! It was embarrassing but I knew I had to do it. Huhuhu. So there, even without a helmet, I was wearing the San Beda Toga revving Roxas [Boulevard]. My false eyelashes nearly fell out with our speed – but I felt safe anyhow since Kuya was cautious. Hahaha.
To my batchmates, yes – I was the only one who went down by herself in the Plenary Hall stairs. I don’t have anyone to face anymore.

To kuya Ron, we were no longer able to have a photo taken since I was jogging towards PICC in my heels. THANK YOU SO MUCH – YOU’RE A GIFT FROM HEAVEN. (To whoever knows him, he’s from Balut, I forgot his surname. Huhuhu.
????)
My graduation was truly memorable.
❤
???? I DO NOT REGRET THAT I WAS LATE FOR IT.
