PROJECT BAKED, a non-school affiliated fundraiser made by students of Batches 2023 and 2024, is currently trying to help collect funds in order to donate to their beneficiaries, namely Educational Assistance through Sponsorship (EAS) program of Concordia Children’s Services, GK Padre Pio School Inc. in Bagong Silang, Caloocan, and IUplift—specifically their initiative #ProjectAmbangan which helps students access proper education.
A lot of learning has shifted online because of the pandemic and many students can’t afford the equipment needed for the ICT aspect of school now. But PROJECT BAKED aims to help out by attempting to raise over PHP 100,000 for their beneficiaries. They had a bake sale that lasted until August 12 to raise the funds but they’re continuing to take donations for the cause.
