Good News for all the U.S. Citizens who are stranded in the Philippines during the ECQ.

There will be two flights that will be assisting U.S. Citizens to go back home. One flight will be on May 21 from Manila to Los Angeles and another is on May 26 from Manila to San Francisco. Both flights will be in partnership with Philippine Airlines (PAL) for user-pay flights.

PAL

The U.S. Embassy is looking into offering sweeper flights from other provinces like Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Kalibo, Laoag, Legaspi, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Tacloban, and Tagbilaran.

The tickets from Manila to Los Angeles or San Francisco are valued at $1,200 (economy + taxes and other fees) while domestic sweeper flights will cost $200 (+taxes and other fees)

All flight bookings may be arranged with Philippine Airlines and must submit a phone number so PAL can coordinate all the flight details.

For sweeper flights from provinces, a citizen must have proof of onward international flight and confirmed hotel reservation until international flight departure.

The deadline for registration is Sunday, May 17 at 8:00 PM.
