Heads up, Bridgerton fans! While waiting for the newest season of Bridgerton featuring the spicy story of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, we get to see the story of Queen Charlotte back when she was just a young lady.
“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” is a prequel to the beloved Netflix series. In a nutshell, the plot follows Queen Charlotte’s rise to prominence and power and shows us how she meets King George and how their love story unfolds.
Netflix recently dropped the official trailer, and as certified Bridgerton fans, we could not contain our excitement!

This limited series also gives us a glimpse of how the young Queen Charlotte caused a societal shift in the world of Bridgerton, a peek at her deep friendship with Bridgerton’s Lady Danbury, and a look at Queen Charlotte’s strong and powerful character even as a young woman.

The young Queen Charlotte is played by India Amarteifio while the young King George is played by Corey Mylchreest. Their chemistry is palpable even with just a 2-minute trailer!
“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” is set to premiere on Netflix this May 4.
