Model and entrepreneur Paris Hilton just got the best birthday surprise!
On an Instagram post, Paris, who just celebrated her 40th birthday at a private island with her boyfriend, businessman Carter Reum, revealed that she is now engaged to be married as she shared photos from the sweet and simple proposal.
“When you find your soulmate, you don’t just know it. You feel it,” she began in her post.
“My love & I have been together since our first date, and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise. As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee,” she shared.
“I said yes, yes to forever. There’s no one I’d rather spend forever with.”
She called the proposal her “fairytale dream came true” and expressed her love and appreciation for her future husband. “Best birthday surprise ever!!” she gushed. “So excited to be your wife!
“When a walk on the beach changes your life. Carter marked my birthday in the most breathtaking way. I said yes, with all the joy and confidence and comfort that comes with knowing he’s more than my love. He’s my twin flame. my other half, my best friend and my soulmate,” she added.
Paris has had quite a number of engagements in the past with her former lovers: actor Chris Zylka in 2018, Greek businessman Paris Latsis in 2005, and model Jason Shaw in 2002.
She and Carter have been dating for over a year now.
