Valentine’s is still a month away, but Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are proving themselves to be #relationshipgoals.
For Hemsworth’s birthday on January 13, Cyrus posted a wacky picture of the couple on Instagram, with the caption, “Happiest birthday EVER to my favorite being EVER EVER EVER! You have been my best friend since the day we met….. I am beyond lucky to share sooooo animals with you!!! I love you @liamhemsworth.”
The two met while filming The Last Song in 2009. They began dating, and were engaged in 2012. The following year, the engagement was called off, but they reconciled in 2016.
Recently, rumors began to swirl that the two got married over the holidays. According to a report by Life & Style magazine, a source close to the couple shared that the two “secretly married at their Malibu home,” and that “it was very psychedelic and hippie-esque, exactly what you’d imagine a Miley Cyrus wedding to be.”
Additionally, the source also shared that the ceremony was very intimate, with only 10 of Miley and Liam’s closest family and friends present and revealed that the couple wrote the vows themselves. “There were touching words about how they were each other’s soul mates,” the source reportedly said. “Liam and Miley really love each other and have talked about tying the knot for so long, they decided to just go for it.”
