38-years-old actress Meryll Soriano just surprised friends and fans when she posted a photo on Instagram revealing that she had given birth to her baby with actor Joem Bascon.
The news comes unexpectedly, knowing that Meryll and Joem had split up almost a decade ago. However, rumors have been circulating as of January of last year that the two rekindled their flame and it’s only now that they confirmed it.

“2021! May this year be kinder to us all. May we all find peace, joy, and love. New year, new hopes, new positive outcomes. Happy New Year from our family to yours!” she wrote on her post where she shared photos of herself with Joem and carrying a newborn baby.
She did not reveal when she gave birth and what the name of their child is.
Rumors that Meryll and Joem got back together began last January 2020 when Joem was spotted in a picture with Meryll’s family, a month after Joem confirmed he and his former partner Crisha Uy broke up.
The two reunited on set for the film Culion and for their television show Starla back in 2019.
