The Flash is getting a new costume!!! At the DC Fandome today, Ezra Miller (who plays The Flash in the movies) showed us some concept art for his upcoming suit – a new and improved version of the one we’ve seen. His new costume is, of course, courtesy of billionaire Bruce Wayne aka Batman, who designed his suit. Andy Muschietti, director of ‘The Flash’, says that the costume is more organic. “You can see light embedded in it,” he says. Check out the concept art here:
Probably the biggest reason to get excited for the upcoming ‘The Flash’ movie is the fact that they will finally be introducing the multiverse in it, where DC heroes from both the big screen and the small screen could possibly come together to provide us with utter awesomeness!
Having said that, we can look forward to seeing Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, who will both reprise their roles as Batman in ‘The Flash’. Ben Affleck starred as Batman in the recent movies ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, ‘Justice League’, and ‘Suicide Squad’; while Michael Keaton starred as Batman in ‘Batman’ and ‘Batman Returns’ back in the 80s-90s.
‘The Flash’ will be the first standalone movie of the character and will deal with time travel – “a film that will deliver both heart and humor” as Muschietti puts it. Miller adds that it will “explore the juxtaposition between his vulnerability and his immense power”.
‘The Flash’ is expected to begin shooting in 2021.
