Stan Lee is every Marvel movie’s “easter egg,” having appeared in most Marvel movies since 2000’s X-Men as a discreet yet instantly recognizable extra. But he’s extending his reach beyond movies, because he’s now an “easter egg” in cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao’s picture!
Gosiengfiao posted a photo of her with the former president and chairman of Marvel Comics on Instagram as she attended the premiere of Captain America: Civil War in the Hollywood Walk of Fame with Eric Ejercito.
Captain America: Civil War is the latest installment of the Captain America series following The First Avenger and The Winter Soldier. In Civil War, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the Avengers, which splits the team. It received good reviews, scoring 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and Variety calling it “the most mature and substantive picture to have yet emerged from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
