More than 10 years ago, a video of dancing inmates in Cebu went viral. The inmates were dancing to the tune of Michael Jackson’s Thriller. The video became a huge hit not only in the Philippines but the whole world too.
Fast-forward to today, you can get to know more about the things happening behind bars in Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC).
Happy Jail is a five-part docu-series goes inside CPDRC, a unique Philippine jail where dancing is part of the inmates’ exercise and rehabilitation.
