Lauren Young has had to defend herself from bashers calling her ‘fat’ and disparaging her career. The actress began receiving hate after criticizing DJ Loonyo’s claims of the prolonged use of face masks being harmful as “bobo.” She also questioned if he was secretly a flat earther with that kind of logic.
Fans of DJ Loonyo flooded her tweet with replies, with some targeting her weight. “Masama na pala maging mataba ngayon,” she responded to one such message.
She continued the sentiment in another tweet, asking why it mattered if she was fat: “Oo mataba ako! Ano ngayon???”
