“Man. I still can’t believe this happened,” KZ Tandingan wrote when she shared on Instagram a photo of herself with Grammy Award-winning producer and former American Idol judge, Randy Jackson.
The young singer met Randy in Los Angeles, California. Prior to their meeting, as recalled by ABS-CBN Global events head Ricky Resurreccion on a separate Instagram post, Randy had said that he was already aware of KZ and that was impressed by her talent.

As seen in videos posted by Ricky, KZ kept gushing the whole time she was speaking with Randy.
It is unclear what their meeting had been about. However, KZ did say she was “excited for the future.”
“I got to talk to you about my dream and my passion,” KZ said. “I learned a lot and heard amazing stories from you! Thank you sir [Randy.] I’m excited for the future! #neverstopthegigil”
