Kythe Community Day 2019: K’Ohana

MAIN POSTER

Aloha!

Kythe-Ateneo is a student organization that aims to alleviate the anxiety of pediatric patients with chronic illnesses, as well as their families, through meaningful play and interaction inside our affiliate hospitals.

We also organize advocacy events outside the hospital that give the kids the opportunity to enjoy their childhood. As Kythe-Ateneo continues to help children and their families, the organization aims to further its commitment to service by improving its advocacy campaigns, and quite possibly create even more impactful events that are able to re-establish and strengthen the core values of the organization. One of these noteworthy events is Kythe Community Day, held at the Ateneo De Manila University.

Kythe Community Day 2019: K’Ohana aims to bring together all the different facets of the Kythe Community — the kids, their families, the Child Life Coordinators, the survivors, and the alumni of the organization — for a day full of fun workshops, exciting activities, and amazing performances! This event hopes to show the beauty in the diversity of the community, and to emphasize that no one is alone fighting the good fight. K’Ohana aims to celebrate the life of every member and the stories they continue to tell. This year’s Kythe Community Day will be held on March 30, 2019 at the Ateneo Senior High School Field. Over 100 members of the Kythe Community will be participating in this event, alongside other partner organizations, 100 volunteers, and 180 buddies who will be assigned to the Kythe kids and their families for the whole day of fun-filled activities.

Join us as we continue to drive forward our advocacy by providing the kids and their families with a day filled with fun, laughter, and love. Sign up to be a kid’s buddy now at https://www.tinyurl.com/KCD2019BuddySignUps!
