Kylie Verzosa showed off her acting chops in The Housemaid and she was recognized for it at an award-giving body in Dubai.
She was named Actress of the Year – Philippines at the Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards 2022.
According to Viva Artists Agency, “DIAFA is an annual unique and prestigious red carpet & awards ceremony which honors distinguished personalities from both the Arab and International world, in recognition of their annual achievements and contributions towards committees and society’s betterment.”
The ceremony will take place on November 4, 2022, at Dubai Creek Harbour Marina in the United Arab Emirates.
The Housemaid
Verzosa plays the titular housemaid, who joins a rich household to take care of the daughter. It is the local adaptation of a South Korean film from 2010, also called The Housemaid. It stars Jeon Do Yeon, Lee Jung Jae, Seo Woo, and Youn Yuh Jung.
