Actress Klea Pineda celebrated her first pride month since coming out by posting an empowering message coupled with some fierce takes from a photoshoot.

The 24-year-old came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community during her birthday in March 2023 and proudly introduced her non-showbiz girlfriend, Katrice Kierulf.Â
In an Instagram post, she penned an inspiring message about showing her authentic self and thanked the LGBTQ+ community for supporting her, accompanied by snaps from a photoshoot.
“By being honest and true to myself, I finally found MY people. These people help me in this journey as I gain more confidence, have better self-awareness, and be more comfortable in presenting my authentic self. Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam na I don’t have to hide in the shadows anymore because of all of you! For that, I cannot be more thankful,” she wrote.

Klea also expressed how grateful she is to become an inspiration for some to take the courage to come out and show their true selves. “I wish I can hug each and every one of you to repay the immense love that you give me,” she added.

She concluded her post with a “promise” to the LGBTQ+ community. “To celebrate my first Pride Month since I came out, here’s my promise: In a world where we have to fight for our basic needs and rights, know that I am here for you, and I stand in solidarity with you! Happy Pride Month, loves!”
Klea and Katrice also joined the recent Pride March to show solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.
