WHEN IN MANILA is partnering once again with Kindassault for the live performance of Explosions in the Sky, happening on October 30 at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura in Taguig City.
Explosions in the Sky is an experimental post-rock band from Austin, Texas. They gained a large group of followers when their songs were featured in the 2004 film, Friday Night Lights. In 2011, they released their latest album, Take Care, Take Care, Take Care. Recently, they contributed to the soundtrack of the Sundance film, Prince Avalanche, which stars Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch.
In just a few more weeks, Explosions in the Sky fans in Manila will be able to see them play live for the first time. Meanwhile, here’s a couple of their most loved tracks:
