K-Pop Star Goo Hara Passes Away

Former Kara member Goo Hara passed away today. She was 28 years old.

According to Seoul Gangnam Police Station, she was found dead in her home in Cheongdam, Seoul today (November 24) at about 6PM.

The cause of death has not been revealed and the matter is being investigated.

Goo Hara started her K-pop journey in 2008 as a member of the group Kara, known for their hits “Monster,” “Lupin,” “Jumping,” and more.

In 2015, she debuted as a solo singer with the EP “Alohara (Can You Feel It?).” Her latest single is the J-pop song “Midnight Queen.”

Goo Hara has also dabbled in acting, appearing in Hero, City Hunter, Galileo 2, and Secret Love.
