Singer K Brosas proves that unconditional love triumphs all as she delivered a sweet and strong message of support for her daughter, Crystal, who revealed to fans and followers that she is an out and proud lesbian woman.

K Brosas sat down with Crystal for a 10-minute long video on Instagram where Crystal opened up about her sexuality. “Ako po si Crystal and I’m a lesbian. I’m gay,” she told the camera after some words of encouragement from her mother.
K Brosas then voiced out her thoughts about it.
“Sa mga nagtatanong, matagal ko nang alam,” she admitted, “High School palang, alam ko na ‘yan.”
“Wala akong galit, wala akong buwisit. Tinanggap ko. ‘Yong anak ko, nag-iiiyak. Ako, kalmado. Sabi ko, ‘Anak, kahit ano pa, kahit halamang dagat ka pa, mamahalin kita.’ Kasi ‘yon ang unconditional love bilang magulang,” she added.
She then went on to say that their religious upbringing has no impact on the way she views her only child.
“Ang sexual preference ng anak ko, walang kinalaman sa pagmamahal ko sa kanya. At sa mga nakakapanood nito na sinusumpa ang mga anak nila dahil sa religious … sorry, peace, hindi. Kung anak mo ‘yan, unconditional (love dapat) ‘yan. And I’m very proud sa anak ko. Nagtatrabaho siya ngayon, napaka-talented,” she said. “Alam ko na ito ‘yong kanyang sexual preference, hindi ‘yon hadlang kasi nag-iisa ko lang ito. Actually, kahit hindi ito nag-iisa, kahit pito sila that won’t change the fact na tanggap ko siya.”
“I love my daughter. And alam ko na po ito years ago, and I support her. Maganda ang relationship namin, wala kaming tinatago. Tinago lang namin ito. Ito lang naman kasi sabi ko dapat may right time so ito ‘yong birthday gift ko sa kanya,” she ended.
