The Philippines has set another Guinness World Record in the field of Zumba and it was led by no other than the Zumba King himself, Ron Antonio. Together with him were 100 of the finest Licensed Zumba Instructors all over the Philippines. Gov. Migz Villafuerte was very happy that the record was achieved in the province of Cam Sur with Ron Antonio leading the record-breaking attempt.
A total of 13,350 participants gathered at the Provincial Capitol of Cam Sur in Pili. Despite the heavy rains during the registration turning the provincial capitol grounds into a mud pit and a lot of setbacks such as power interruption a few minutes going into the official record attempt, destiny could not be changed. A new Guinness World Record has been eclipsed!
When asked about his accomplishment, Ron mentioned that it is always a blessing from God when you achieve something as big as this one. With a multitude of people traveling far and wide braving all the challenges such as bad weather and more, God is really at your side.
It can be said that the Guinness World Records is an ultimate dream project for all instructors all over the world. It is the first time for a Celebrity Zumba Instructor leading a gargantuan event like this. This event was closely followed by famous Zumba figures all over the world. Plus, it was a proud moment that a Filipino was in the spotlight.
