The Johnny Depp and Amber Heard issue has been going on for quite some time now. Depp sued Heard after she wrote an article in the Washington Post in 2018, claiming that she was a victim of domestic abuse. Heard countersued Depp for libel when he called her a liar. Last night, a lot of shocking revelations came to light in court.
From Heard allegedly doing a number two on their bed after a fight and blaming the dog the next day to Depp’s finger getting severed after Heard allegedly threw a vodka bottle at him after yet another fight, it was hard to listen to the stories and witness Depp recount them from their 23-month marriage.

One particular question that came up that a lot of people in the comments section of the Facebook Live video on Unilad also asked was, “Why did he stay with her if so much abuse was allegedly going on?”
It seems there were many reasons why Depp stayed. For starters, he shared that Heard had mentioned suicide multiple times and he was afraid that she would attempt to take her own life just like his mother did when his father left. “I didn’t want to break her heart,” Depp explained. “When my father left, my mother – that first attempt at suicide that I woke up to and that visual in my head – that was a direct result of my father’s leaving.”
Since Heard had mentioned suicide several times in the past, he said, “That’s something that always lives in the back of your brain and you fear.” He also shared that he had hoped he could change her; but clearly, that was not the case.
