We Bare Bears fans worldwide are already preparing their hearts for the release of the much-awaited We Bare Bears: The Movie that’s scheduled for release in the US on Tuesday, June 30. But while we’re all excited for an hour-long story of the brothers’ shenanigans, we can’t help but dread it too…because, apparently, it will mark the end of the beloved cartoon show.
“Sad to announce but sadly, after the We Bare Bears movie the show will come to an end,” creator Daniel Chong revealed in an Instagram post. “Thank you all for the support of this show, you are all amazing!”
The comments section has since been swarmed with comments from fans expressing their surprise and sadness over the show’s imminent end.

This doesn’t mean that we’ll be seeing the last of Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear, however. Following the movie release is an upcoming spin-off series about the three in their younger years. It’s yet to be known when it will premiere.
In the meantime, we’ll be crying our eyes out while saying our bitter goodbyes to the three brothers.

We Bare Bears ran from July 2015 to May 2019 with a total of four seasons and 140 episodes. It told the story of three adoptive brother bears who spend their days trying to adapt to human society while also learning to accept who they are. It has since become a globally loved franchise.
