I remember that when we were kids, we were taughtย in school about having good morals, treating the elderly with respect, and doing even the smallest acts of kindness. Oftentimes, the example that is given to us by our teachers is helping the elderly cross the road. It’s simple yet this action goes a long way.
It’s comforting to see that this lesson has been ingrained even to adults. Take a look at the story sent to us by John Santos.
According to John, he saw this police officer get off his motorcycle to help a “lola” cross the road.
John shared:
There are still men in uniform deserves a salute from civilian. I took this photograph this morning (April 5, 2016) at Central Market, Manila. The police officer passing on the other side of the road get off from his motor bike and assisted the “lola.” #ActOfRandomKindness #SalutetoMamangPulis #WeStillHaveHope
It seems so simple but I believe that small act is appreciated well by the “lola.”
Have you done anyย acts of random kindness today?
