IN PHOTOS: The first-ever Bohemian Psychedelic Halloween Party

This one-of-a-kind Halloween party has made a full house out of the two floors of Cinko PH in Makati.

With the official event name of BohoVinta PH Party 2.0 (Black Light Bohemian Halloween), it is arguably the first-ever in the country to have made a fusion of bohemian and psychedelic themes in one public party.

Just the second event organized by the up-and-coming bohemian fashion brand BohoVinta PH, the event attracted more than 250 boho souls in Poblacion, Makati. It also brought together emerging and established musicians, artists, performers (a debut for DJs Takamaka and Triprunner), and makers in a tropical roof-deck set-up filled with black light and bohemian art.

Attendees got creative with the free fluorescent face and body paint, and with the interactive installation of a mannequin with its dress serving as a freedom wall. Others specifically went straight to getting a tattoo or piercing, or having a tarot card reading.

The gathering was able to support and showcase as well merchants of local, hand-made, and eco-friendly products from Huño’s Eco Project, Hiraya Alpas, Likhaya By Virlanie, La Isla Luisa, Morena the Label, Te.Maarts, and Love Leara.

 

The organizer BohoVinta PH, however, did not sell any of its bohemian fashion products as these were given away as prizes for a photo contest, registration raffle, and the surprise Best in Costume award.

 

Overall, the bohemian psychedelic Halloween party was able to successfully promote BohoVinta PH’s core values: creativity, community, and consciousness.
