Hope in Fashion from The Hope Closet
The Hope Closet is a fashion line which aims to give hope to those suffering depression.
Their mission is to use fashion as a means of inspiration for depressed people, helping them find their happiness from within and hope for a better life.
The Hope Closet shirt design consists of a dream catcher for catching bad dreams. The doves at the bottom of the dream catcher symbolize hope after experiencing bad dreams. On the shirt are the words โYou Are Your Cureโ as well which serves as a reminder that you can withstand the challenge you are facing.
Clinging to something positive such as hope can help fight depression, and that is what The Hope Closet is aiming for.
Each shirt for this cause is priced at Php 500. They are offering black shirts and white shirts, with sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL.
The Hope Closet will be donating the proceeds to the Natasha Goulbourn Foundation, a Philippine-based non-profit organization that is dedicated to bringing depression to light through the use of educational lectures, confidential 24/7 crisis hotlines and referrals to partner psychologists.
